It's the same web address, but everything else is brand spankin' new. Honestly, I go there at least once a day to look at my designs when I have the real thing sitting right next to me in my portfolio. It was a lot of hard work: from the photo shoots, to layout and design, to uploading and organizing all those amazing pictures. Do you know how many times we tweaked the logo to make sure it stood out? If it doesn't make you want to order some invitations, you should just throw in the towel and go to evite.

This is a new category I am starting featuring design tips from me to wow your guests even more. One of the first things a bride decides on is the colors for the wedding, so this first post is advice on picking the right colors. Most brides go with 2 colors, maybe 3--which is fine. You don't want the reception to look like a rainbow barfed on your venue. If you want to add depth and richness to your style choose a tone-on-tone scheme. This will create a very put together look, and offers more impact than contrasting colors.

What a weekend. The Plano Bridal Show was better than ever. A steady stream of brides from the time the doors opened till they closed. I even had one looking through things as I was cleaning up afterward! Guess they liked what they saw-mm hmm! Thanks to all the ladies (and a few Grooms-to-be) that attended the show. I know you did not go home disappointed, nor did I. Talking with new brides is always inspiring. You get a sense of what's new and fresh on the wedding scene, and more importantly what people want. Met a lot of ladies with great ideas for some oh so stylish chic stationery, which will focus my creativity over the next few months on things such as music notes, lots of purple, and getting back to nature. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds...
